Alaskan Leopard Comedy Tours was created in
2001. It has evolved from strictly a comedy
walking tour venue into the Cruise Transportation service of
today. We are a respected and recognized tourism venue in Anchorage.
We have outstanding guest reviews published on CruiseCritic.com as well as
many other notable open bulletin board sites worldwide. This is a highly profitable business. From your net profit, you will realize better than
one-half of your purchase price in your first year of business. This
is not a sacrifice sale. We are beginning our
retirement planning and are simply looking to
reduce our personal time commitment to our many businesses. This venue is owned by Alaskan Leopard Enterprises, Inc. It is only one
of five active business ventures operating under the Alaskan Leopard
umbrella.
Currently Alaskan Leopard Comedy Tours offers
these venues: Anchorage/Whittier tours. Anchorage/Seward
Tours. Custom Group Transportation and Tours. This sale includes all
three venues. The name 'Alaskan Leopard Comedy Tours' is
included in this sale.
The following assets are included in the sale price:
- 1991 Goshen 21-passenger bus, Airporter model.
The website contains numerous photos. High-back reclining
passenger seats with armrests, power brakes, power steering, dual system
air conditioning, electric doors. In excellent condition, the bus
is currently configured to seat 19 passengers. The interior of the
bus was modified to include a raised stage platform. The interior
of the bus is designed in a log cabin motif. The bus was purchased
six years ago with a new engine installed by the previous owner, Luxury
Limousines. The transmission was replaced in August 2006. New tires were installed last season and
have less than 8,000 miles of use. Annual service records,
permitting, and maintenance records have been maintained. The bus
is signed and decorated in the general theme of the venue. There
is a rear luggage compartment that will hold between 30 and 40 pieces of
luggage.
- Additionally included in the sale is a second bus
which has a 31 passenger capacity. Currently this vehicle is under
a lease agreement with its current owner. For the 2008 season we
used this vehicle for our custom group venues and on days when our
regular venue vehicle was sold out. Full transfer of ownership
will take place upon the closing of this sale.
- All on-board electronic equipment associated with
the theatrical production: Inverter, laptop computer, sound
system, interior PA system, computer monitor, controls, and ten speakers.
- Website files. The purchaser must secure a new
domain name and web host. Web-mastering services to make minor text
changes are included in the sale
price.
- All collateral, data files, sound files, and
marketing pieces associated with the operation of the comedy tour..
- All scripts, CDs, DVDs, and video tapes of
performances associated with the transportation venue to include a fully
executed theatrical release. The multimedia comedy show is part of the
tour and is responsible for the tremendous success of this business. We
are more than just a transportation service. Purchaser will be granted
ownership of the following character names:
Trapper Tom. Sister Pearl Handle. Goofy Gus. Miner Mac. Musher
Mike. Fireweed Frannie. Knowledgeable Norman.
Matanuska Maddie. Belva Boudae. Handsome Hank. Ranger Rodney; all with a full
theatrical releases.
- Our marketing plan to include all currently active web directories,
portals, links, and associations. Any existing prepaid trade
organization memberships
that are transferable to a new owner are also included in the sale. Included also is the format for
our highly effective
Microsoft, Yahoo, and Google Adword campaigns currently in use. These
marketing venues have been extremely successful and all keyword and
keyword phrases currently used to create the volume recognized will be
fully disclosed and surrendered with the sale of the business.
- All reservations and advance revenue deposits for
next year's season as of the closing date of the sale. Purchaser
must agree to honor all current confirmed bookings as of the date of
purchase.
The following terms are negotiable:
- Alaskan Leopard Enterprises, Inc. reserves the right to modify the
amount of advance collections included in this sale per the actual
purchase and transfer date, and as our professional commitment and liability increases.
- Owner financing may be offered to the
approved and credit worthy purchaser under reasonable terms and
conditions. A personal guarantee will be required
with any contract-to-purchase sale.
- Alaskan Leopard Enterprises, Inc. d/b/a Leopard
Trax Alaska Vacation Planning will be willing to enter into a management
agreement
to supply future bookings via our own marketing efforts in exchange for
a cooperative commission of 10%. This agreement may include
telephone answering and other options available to our other reservation
management clients.
- There are no liens or encumbrances of any type.
The business and its assets are owned 100% free and clear. Alaskan Leopard
Comedy Tours is fully insured, licensed, and permitted. We are
registered with the State of Alaska and the Federal Department of
Transportation..
- The bus and assets, other than those further
described, may be inspected prior to the submission of an offer.
Company books, records, and documentation may only be
reviewed during an agreed and reasonable due diligence
period as described and included in an executed agreement to purchase
contract. All offers must include a cash earnest money deposit. No
proprietary information, trade secrets, or company books will be
disclosed prior to the consummation of a valid purchase agreement
contract.
- Our marketing plan will only be disclosed on final
deposit of earnest money and a signed and valid contract has been
executed.
- For the 2006 season, total gross sales were
$53,826. For the 2007 season gross sales were $80,834.437.
For the 2008 season gross sales will exceed $120,000. This has
been a finely nurtured, marketed, and developed profit generator. The potential
for 2009 and beyond is simply limited by the amount of time the new owner
is willing to participate, payroll expense for additional drivers, and how much more
you want to grow the business.
Please note that this business is currently a summer seasonal activity.
We do not offer any tours after September 18th or before May 15th. It can be successfully run by a single
individual with a gross profit margin of 60% or better. Only the
owner and one employee driver are necessary to take over
and operate this turn-key opportunity as it is currently configured. Only serious investors should
